Geinspireerd door het vroegere werk van Kings of Leon, de soul van The Black Angels en de blues van Cuby and The Blizzards, begonnen vier Nozems uit het Noorden des Lands aan een reis onder de naam White Shadow.

 

Na de opnames van de eerste naamloze demo ging White Shadow langs vele kroegen, poppodia, festivallen en feesttenten. Ondertussen werden er bandcontests gewonnen en werd er zelfs buiten de comfortabele landsgrenzen gespeeld.

 

In 2008 kwam White Shadow met de EP 'The New Thing' en daarmee gingen de deuren open naar grotere podia als de Melkweg, P60, Ekko, Stairway to Heaven, Paradiso, Tivoli en vele andere zalen...

 

Na het spelen met bands als Brimstone Howl (USA), DeWolff (NED), The Intellectuals (ITA) en The Phantom Four (NED), besloot de band het iets kalmer aan te doen. Maar nu zijn ze weer terug op het goede spoor met de EP 'Black Coal Train'!

 

 

Inspired by the early works of Kings of Leon, the soul of The Black Angels and the blues of Cuby and The Blizzards, four young guns from the Northern parts of the Netherlands went on this journey by the name of White Shadow.

 

After recording a nameless demo, White Shadow toured around loads of bars, venues, festivals and other places. Meanwhile, winning several contests and even performing outside the comforts of the Dutch borders.

 

In 2008, White Shadow released their first EP called 'The New Thing' and the road led to bigger venues like Melkweg, P60, Ekko, Stairway to Heaven, Paradiso, Tivoli and many more...

 

After playing with bands like Brimstone Howl (USA), DeWolff (NED), The Intellectuals (ITA) and The Phantom Four (NED), the band decided to take a step back. Now, they're back on track with their new LP called 'Black Coal Train'!
